She obtained her bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University's Psychological Counseling and Guidance program and her master's degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology from the University of Padova. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a trainee school counselor with children and adolescents and served as a research assistant in ongoing studies in developmental psychology. After graduation, she worked at Ege University's Child and Adolescent Research Laboratory on ongoing training and projects related to peer bullying, parental counseling, and autism. During her master's studies, she worked at the University of Padova's Baby Laboratory on language development and working memory in infants, and she wrote her thesis in this field. She is currently working as a Specialist Psychologist in Berlin and leading support groups on migration psychology.
